STEP 1: GET YOUR MATERIALS READY
Find a clean, cool spot to work. You'll need:

A lint-free cloth or microfiber towel

Alcohol pad (or warm soapy water)

STEP 2: CLEAN YOUR SPEEDOMETER AREA
This step matters most. Dust and oils prevent good adhesion.

Wipe the chrome areas of the analog speedometer gauge thoroughly with a dry cloth. If needed, use an alcohol pad or a damp cloth. Make sure it's completely dry before moving on. This takes about 3 to 5 minutes but makes all the difference.

STEP 3: TEST FIT (OPTIONAL BUT SMART)
Before committing, remove one ring from the adhesive backing and position it over your speedometer opening. Check that it sits flush and straight from multiple angles. This 2-minute step prevents installation mistakes.

STEP 4: APPLY THE RINGS
Start with one ring, peel back the adhesive backing from one edge. Carefully align the ring over your speedometer gauge opening. As you peel back the backing, press the ring down firmly.

Once fully positioned, press down with firm, even pressure for 10 to 15 seconds. Repeat with the second ring.

Total application time: 5 to 15 minutes.

Purchased alongside the steering wheel centre ring and the colour is exactly the same.

Puts a smile on my face every time l get in, as the previous chrome was beginning to look outdated….
