This steering wheel centre cover is made from genuine Italian Alcantara, giving the centre of the wheel a much smarter, more premium finish. It’s a great option if you already have other Alcantara details in the car, or simply want to move away from the standard centre badge finish.

The Alcantara gives it a subtle motorsport-inspired look without being over the top, making it a nice addition to Cooper S and JCW interiors.

Fitting is easy too. The cover comes with 3M adhesive backing, so there’s no need to remove or replace the original steering wheel trim. Just make sure the surface is clean and grease-free, line it up and press firmly into place.

Pre-applied 3M adhesive backing
Fitting is quick and straightforward:

Clean the surface – Thoroughly clean and degrease the centre of the steering wheel, making sure it is completely dry and free from dust, oils or cleaning products

Check the position – Before removing the backing, place the Alcantara cover over the steering wheel centre to check the alignment

Remove the backing – Carefully peel away the backing from the pre-applied 3M adhesive

Fit the cover – Line it up carefully and press firmly into position, working across the surface to ensure a good, even bond
We recommend measuring the diameter of your existing steering wheel centre badge before ordering, as there are two F-Series sizes:

Pre-LCI F-Series 2014–2018 – 10 cm – Earlier style badge

LCI F-Series 2018 onwards – 10.6 cm – Later style badge

Please measure before ordering rather than relying on the vehicle year alone, as steering wheels may have been changed or upgraded during the life of the car.

As with all products from SMPS12 this cover is perfect and looks great and professional it is a little tricky to fit and align so make sure the badge is totally aligned before gently from the badge to the circle
