SMPS2012 is a family-run business based in Chester, UK. Our journey began with a personal project on our own Generation 1 R50 MINI. At the time, there were limited MINI parts and accessories available in the UK. So, we decided to help other MINI owners by sourcing and supplying quality parts. This is how SMPS2012 was created.
Interestingly, the name originally came from a different business idea Sam had in mind... but it stuck!
Today, SMPS2012 is synonymous with trusted MINI Cooper parts and accessories, backed by expert knowledge and passion.

Buying MINI parts from SMPS2012
Where can I buy genuine and aftermarket MINI parts online?
SMPS2012 is an independent UK retailer supplying MINI owners worldwide. Our range includes genuine MINI parts, aftermarket accessories, dechrome accessories, lighting, interior styling and performance upgrades. Browse by model, then check the fitment details on the individual product.
Can I order MINI parts from outside the UK?
Yes, international delivery is available to supported destinations. Enter your delivery country at checkout to see the available services and cost for your basket. Delivery options depend on the destination and parcel size. If no option appears, contact us before ordering; do not assume every product can ship to every country.
Do you sell parts for older MINI models?
We stock selected parts and accessories for the BMW-era Gen 1 R50, R52 and R53, as well as Gen 2 R55, R56, R57, R58, R59, R60 and R61 models. Availability varies by part, so start with your generation and check the model and production year on each listing.
Which newer MINI models do you cover?
Our catalogue includes Gen 3 F54, F55, F56, F57 and F60 models, plus selected Gen 4 parts for F65, F66, F67, J01, J05 and U25. Parts are model-specific: a listing for an F56 does not automatically fit an F66 or an electric J01.
How do I check that a MINI part will fit my car?
Check your model code, production year, body style and trim against the product listing. Engine, facelift version, left- or right-hand drive and factory equipment can also matter. If you are unsure, send our team the product link and your car details before ordering.
What is the difference between genuine and aftermarket parts?
Genuine MINI parts are sold as MINI-branded parts. Aftermarket parts and accessories are made by other manufacturers. We sell both and identify the type in the product information. A carbon-fibre accessory described as genuine carbon fibre refers to the material; it does not by itself mean it is a genuine MINI-branded part.
Is SMPS2012 an official MINI dealership?
SMPS2012 is an independent parts and accessories retailer. MINI model names are used to identify vehicle compatibility. Supplying genuine MINI parts does not make us an official MINI dealership.
