Clean the matching original trim and let it dry completely. The surface must be free from dust, grease and polish.

With the 3M backing still in place, hold the trim against the trim to check its shape, position and any openings.

Peel away the 3M adhesive backing without touching the exposed adhesive.

Align the trim and press it evenly onto the original trim, working across the contact areas.
